Bowes Manor Equestrian Centre is situated at Northside, Birtley behind the Bowes Incline Hotel and a mile from the Angel of the North.

Stephen Gair has been the proprietor at Bowes Manor for over 28 years and is continuously expanding the facilities. We have an olympic sized outdoor sand and rubber arena and a large Indoor arena.

Our riding school is fully licenced and Insured and caters for all abilities from novice to advanced. We have children as young as 4 years of age riding with the aid of leaders. Many of our riding school customers have been with us for a long time and we are proud to have seen them progress through the stages and some of which are now jumping to a national standard.

Our Showjumping Team is trained by owner Stephen Gair who has himself competed to the highest level and has produced many horses, ponies and riders. To find out more just have a look at the Bowes Manor history page.
